As you may remember I wrote to all parents earlier this term about the number of children who were arriving late to school. Although things improved for a while, unfortunately this has started to worsen again—we had 40 children late on Monday alone!

Therefore from Monday 2nd December the following arrangements will be put into place.

· Gates will open at 8.45

· We strongly recommend you aim to be in the playground by 8.50

· At 8.55 the bell will ring and children will go into class.

· Once all classes are indoors the playground gate will shut and parents will only be able to EXIT the playground.

· Any late arrivals will need to go to the front of the school to be signed in. Please note    children MUST be accompanied by an adult.

Starting school on time is hugely important to your child’s education and the way they           approach their learning for the rest of the day. It is also an essential life skill.
